I am pleased to be associated with the Staunton office of Valley Real Estate Brokers.

I began my working career serving as a U.S. Senate aide in Washington, DC. On leaving Capitol Hill, I began a successful practice as a public/government affairs consultant with a nationwide client base. My lifelong interest in education led to philanthropic endeavors, including major donor fundraising for educational organizations. From there, I became involved in the representation of closely held companies for merger, acquisition, and private placement of capital. Real estate investment was in the mix.

As a believer in conservation and historic preservation, I feel the Shenandoah Valley is an ideal place for my family and business.  I practice those values as a real estate professional, advising clients on prudent options in property acquisition and sales.  I have traveled widely, am a former radio talk show host, and an occasional public speaker.

My background in business, government, and philanthropy has provided an in-depth understanding of public policy, the political process, and general public impact.  My experience is most beneficial for providing effective service to a diverse clientele.

I Am a member of the Rockbridge-Buena Vista-Lexington Association of REALTORS®, the Virginia Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®.
